Kolkata, April 25 -- Assam Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said that his party is set to score a "double century" in the West Bengal assembly elections.
Sarma was speaking at a press conference here.
"We are set to win more than 110 seats in the first phase itself. Combining the two phases of the elections, we will get more than 200 seats and form the government comfortably," Sarma said.
152 of the 294 seats in the West Bengal Assembly went to the hustings in phase one of the elections on Thursday. The remaining 142 constituencies will vote on April 23.
