Hyderabad, June 30 -- BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Tuesday said the party would contest future elections on the strength of its own performance rather than the failures of the Congress, while calling upon party workers in Telangana to intensify efforts to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047.

Addressing the Telangana State Party Executive Meeting at Ghatkesar, Nabin said the BJP's journey from winning just two Lok Sabha seats in 1984 to becoming the world's largest political party reflected the tireless efforts of its booth-level karyakartas.
