Kolkata, Sept. 7 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Monday expressed confidence that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) would win the Rejinagar Assembly bypoll comfortably and register a record-margin victory in Nandigram.
"The BJP will win Rejinagar comfortably. In Nandigram, the BJP will win by a record margin," Adhikari said at BJP Party office in Salt Lake.
The Election Commission on Monday announced that bypolls would be held in the two West Bengal Assembly constituencies on October 6, with counting scheduled for October 9. The notification will be issued on September 9, while September 16 is the last date for filing nominations.
