Mumbai, June 23 -- Bharatiya Janata Party chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Tuesday warned Shiv Sena ( UBT) leader Sanjay Raut to refrain from using abusive language against political rivals.

Talking to reporters here, Ban said Raut had reached such a low point that he was abusing his own party MPs who had dared to differ from him and the UBT Chief. He alleged that Raut was indirectly threatening the six rebel MPs who had joined the Shiv Sena Shinde group.

"Remember, this is a state governed by law. Your threats will not be given any importance here. Maharashtra is not afraid of your threats," said Ban adding, Raut was effectively sabotaging his own party.
