Patna, May 29 -- Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Rajesh Ram today alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party was trying to eliminate the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and impose the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the country.
Ram made the remarks while inaugurating the second phase of the three-day "Sarvodaya Sankalp Shivir" at the Bihar Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, in Patna. The training camp will continue from May 29 to May 31.
He said Congress workers were committed to protecting the principles and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and would strengthen the organisation by following the path of truth and non-violence shown by Bapu. We all have to imbibe the thoughts and principles of Bapu in our lives, Ram said.
