Shimla, Sept. 7 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal on Monday said the party would launch a month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' across the state from September 17 to October 17 to mark 25 years of public service and governance by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bindal said the nationwide campaign would be taken to the booth level in Himachal Pradesh and would feature 25 different types of service activities across the state. He said Modi had transformed political power into an instrument of public service during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and subsequently as Prime Minister, with welfare initiatives for the poor, farmers, youth, women and other sections of society forming the centre of governance.
