Hyderabad, April 20 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao paid floral tributes to 12th-century Lingayat saint Basaveshwara on the occasion of his 895th birth anniversary at Tank Bund on Monday.
Extending greetings on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he conveyed his wishes to the people of Telangana, followers of Basaveshwara, and the Lingayat community, noting that the saint's teachings continue to inspire generations.
