Imphal, June 9 -- BJP Manipur unit President Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi is the only candidate for the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Manipur.
According to a release on Tuesday from the Office of the Returning Officer for the Biennial Election to the Rajya Sabha, Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi @ Maimom Sharda Devi, is the lone candidate who had filed the papers. She is the wife of Adhikarimayum Yasobanta Sharma.
On her being elected unopposed, Sharda Devi will replace Maharaj Sanajaoba Leishemba in the upper House.
