Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- BJP state chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Thursday launched an attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut over his criticism of India's GDP figures, questioning whether Raut even understood the basic meaning of GDP.
"Janab Sanjay Raut, whenever the BJP wins an election, you blame the Election Commission. If the BJP achieves a success in the Supreme Court, you say the Supreme Court is wrong. And now, when GDP has grown during the BJP's tenure, you claim the GDP figures are wrong.
"Before coming up with such theories, introspect and ask yourself whether you even understand the 'G' in GDP. You understand only the slavery you practise towards Rahul Gandhi; you do not understand GDP," Ban said.
