Mumbai, June 4 -- Bharatiya Janata Party Chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said on Wednesday that while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is talking about contesting elections in 16 municipal corporations across the state, Sanjay Raut, who is responsible for Nashik, has taken a stand against contesting the election there.

Ban said Raut, who could not even field a party candidate in Nashik district, should not be giving lessons on leadership.

Ban claimed that Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray are sidelining Raut "because they have realized that wherever he gets involved, political damage follows".
