Shimla, April 12 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP President Rajeev Bindal on Sunday, launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led state government, alleging that its three-and-a-half-year tenure under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has severely weakened the state's economy and governance, leaving citizens burdened and discontented.

Addressing a public rally in Nahan, Bindal accused the government of failing in its primary responsibility of maintaining law and order.

He claimed that incidents of violent crime, including murder, extortion, gang-related activities and crimes against women, have seen a rise in recent years.
