Bengaluru, Nov. 3 -- Setting the stage for an aggressive political battle in Karnataka, newly appointed BJP state in-charge Harish Dwivedi on Tuesday declared that the party would work unitedly to return to power in 2028, while accusing the Congress government of corruption, price rise and neglect of ordinary people.
Making the BJP's electoral target clear during his first visit to the state after assuming charge, Dwivedi said the party would take up issues affecting the public and reach out to people by highlighting what he described as the Congress government's misrule over the past three-and-a-half years.
"We will all work together with the resolve and objective of forming a BJP government once again in Karnataka in 2028," he said.
