Kolkata, June 8 -- : Senior BJP leaders in West Bengal on Monday launched a fresh attack on the opposition INDIA bloc, questioning its relevance and highlighting what they described as deepening turmoil within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) following the party's defeat in the recent Assembly elections.
Former state BJP president and West Bengal Animal Resources Development Minister Dilip Ghosh dismissed the INDIA alliance as "non-existent", citing the political rivalry between the Congress and the TMC in the state.
