BJP's Seema Devi and Abhimanyu Kanwar elected unopposed as Kangra Zila Parishad President, Vice President

Dharamshala, July 21 -- BJP's Seema Devi and Abhimanyu Kanwar were elected unopposed as President and Vice President, respectively, of the Kangra Zila Parishad during elections held at the Zila Parishad auditorium in Dharamshala.

Seema Devi, elected from Ward No. 8 (Kalyada), was declared President, while Abhimanyu Kanwar, elected from Ward No. 53 (Sheikhupura), was declared Vice President.

Out of the 54 members of the Kangra Zila Parishad, 39 participated in the election process.

As only one nomination each was filed for the posts of President and Vice President, both candidates were declared elected unopposed.
