Patna, April 30 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson Suresh Rungta Thursday expressed confidence that the party is set to gain a decisive edge in the West Bengal Assembly elections, citing high voter turnout and trends indicated by most exit polls.

Rungta said here that the BJP has consistently secured mandates in various states on the basis of its governance and development work, and a similar trend is now visible in West Bengal. He claimed that public support for the party has grown significantly, with women voters playing a key role in this shift.
