Bagalkot, March 23 -- Political activity intensified in Karnataka's Bagalkote constituency ahead of the by-election, with BJP candidate Dr Veeranna Charantimath filing his nomination on Monday at the Assistant Commissioner's office in the city.
The nomination event witnessed the presence of several senior BJP leaders, including state president B Y Vijayendra, union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MP Jagadish Shettar, and senior leader Govind Karjol, who extended their support to the candidate.
