New Delhi, May 28 -- As part of a major organisational reshuffle, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday announced key leadership changes across four states, appointing union Minister Harsh Malhotra as the new president of the Delhi BJP in the most significant development of the revamp.

Malhotra, who also serves as the Member of Parliament from East Delhi, was appointed by BJP national president Nitin Nabin. He replaces Virendra Sachdeva, who had led the Delhi unit since 2023 and completed his three-year tenure in March.
