Hyderabad, April 2 -- Telangana BJP official spokesperson Poreddy Kishore on Thursday alleged that nearly Rs 60,000 crore in the Telangana budget remains unaccounted, citing findings from a CAG report.
Addressing a media conference at the State party office, Nampally, he claimed that out of the over Rs 3 lakh crore budget, the state government has accounted for only Rs 2.40 lakh crore, raising concerns over the missing 20 per cent.
Kishore questioned whether the funds were diverted, withheld, or misused, and alleged that they could have been utilised for political purposes outside the state. He also criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's remarks during the Kerala election campaign, calling them inconsistent and misleading.
