Hyderabad, March 3 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over his recent remarks projecting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as the country's next Prime Minister.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP 's chief spokesperson for Telangana and media in-charge NV Subash asked where the Prime Minister's chair was vacant and on what basis such claims were being made. He asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to enjoy strong public support and said the PM's post was not vacant for the next two decades, up to 2047.
