Lucknow, June 17 -- Ruling BJP MLA Sarojininagar Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has requested Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to consider launching "Mission FDI-UP" to make Uttar Pradesh one of India's leading destinations for foreign direct investment.
In his letter on Wednesday, Dr Singh stated that Uttar Pradesh has made historic progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in law and order, expressways, airports, industrial corridors, defence manufacturing, data centres, electronics, tourism and investor facilitation. He said that the UP today has India's largest consumer base, abundant manpower, improving logistics, political stability and a strong infrastructure pipeline.
