Chandigarh, Feb. 23 -- Expressing grave concern over the brutal murder of two Punjab Police personnel at a border outpost in Gurdaspur, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday termed the incident a direct assault on the security of a sensitive border state. While offering his condolences to the families of the fallen officers, Chugh asserted that the nation stands in solidarity with the bereaved and vowed that their ultimate sacrifice would not be forgotten.
