Kottayam, April 4 -- A BJP leader collapsed and died while participating in an election campaign rally here on Saturday.
The deceased, Rajan P.T. (57), was the President of the SC Morcha of Elikulam Panchayat, sources said.
The incident took place during a vehicle rally held in connection with the election campaign of NDA candidate Adv. Shaun George in Pala.
Rajan collapsed and fell from the vehicle near Koorali Pravinkoodu while the rally was in progress.
