Shimla, Aug. 8 -- BJPborganised a state-level Tiranga Yatra in Shimla in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday as part of the celebrations marking the 80th Independence Day, with Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and former state BJP president and MP Suresh Kashyap leading the march.
The yatra commenced from the CTO office in Shimla and passed through Naz Chowk, Lower Bazaar and Mall Road before culminating at the Mahatma Gandhi statue on The Ridge, where the programme concluded with the national anthem.
