Ranchi, July 21 -- Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) today hit back at the BJP, accusing it of shedding "crocodile tears" over women's safety while ignoring worse records in BJP-ruled
states.
JMM central general secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey said the BJP has no moral authority to speak
on women's issues.
"Where was their outrage during the Hathras, Unnao or Manipur incidents?" he asked, calling out the party's "double standards."
Pandey said JMM was the first to raise its voice against witch-hunting and pushed for strong laws.
"Cases are being acted upon, and the state is committed to justice," he added.
