Lucknow, Jan. 7 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that the BJP government is secretly plotting to gradually eliminate MNREGA by changing its name.
"On one hand, the BJP government is continuously reducing the MNREGA budget, and on the other hand, it has put so much pressure on the states to spend money. On the other hand, the states, already struggling with empty treasuries, will be unable to arrange for the additional budget as they are not getting their share of GST," he said.
