Kolkata, June 15 -- The BJP government in West Bengal is set to launch a statewide "Jan Kalyan Shibir" programme from Monday with the aim of ensuring quicker and easier access to government services for citizens.
The initiative, which bears similarities to the previous government's "Duare Sarkar" outreach programme, seeks to bring multiple welfare schemes, awareness campaigns and application facilities under one roof.
According to sources at Nabanna, special camps will be organised at district and block levels across the state from Monday to Wednesday.
