Hyderabad, June 4 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramachander Rao on Thursday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party is rapidly emerging as a formidable political force in Telangana and alleged that the Congress and the BRS are working in tandem to counter the party's growing influence.
Rao also defended Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan over the recent controversy regarding permission for his proposed public meeting in Telangana.
He said granting permission for public gatherings is a democratic right and should not be politicised. He alleged that rival parties were attempting to create unnecessary controversy for political gain, and asserted that Pawan Kalyan had not made any remarks insulting Telangana....
