BJP edges ahead in early trends as counting begins in West Bengal
Kolkata, May 4 (UNI: The early trends from the counting of votes for the West Bengal Assembly elections on Monday indicated a tight contest between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).After one hour of counting, initial trends of 112 of the 293 assembly constituencies in the state showthe BJP is leading in 56 seats, while the TMC is ahead in 53 constituencies.
