New Delhi, Jan. 7 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Wednesday claimed that the BJP adjourned the Delhi Assembly proceedings on Wednesday following their demand that the CM should apologise on the Bhagat Singh issue.

The AAP said the BJP didn't want to discuss pollution issues in the Assembly.

The AAP said that the Speaker and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa had agreed to hold a discussion on pollution but later they changed their mind.

AAP MLA Gopal Rai alleged the adjournment was a deliberate tactic to avoid the pollution debate. He stated that an opposition legislator was expelled for standing up, while ruling party members doing the same earlier faced no action, which became the pretext for adjournment.
