Hyderabad, July 16 -- BJP Telangana President N Ramchander Rao on Thursday condemned the alleged instruction of Islamic religious verses to a Hindu student at a private school in Hyderabad's Old City and demanded a thorough investigation and stringent action against those responsible.

In a statement, Rao alleged that a second-grade Hindu student at a school in Saidabad was directed to recite the Kalma and was assigned homework to learn and write the Kalma and Surah Al-Fatiha.
