Bengaluru, Aug. 11 -- BJP Karnataka president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister D K Shivakumar drop B Nagendra from the Cabinet before the Monsoon Session of the Assembly, alleging that his re-induction had raised serious questions over the government's handling of the Valmiki Corporation scam.
With the Assembly session beginning on August 13, Vijayendra warned that the Opposition would make Nagendra's continuation in the Cabinet a major issue, alongside farmers' distress, drought and alleged curtailment of welfare benefits.
