Patna, May 17 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded legal action against Mahmood Madani over his reported opposition to the national song Vande Mataram.
In a statement on Sunday, BJP spokesperson and Joint Secretary of the Patna High Court Advocates' Association Sanjeev Kumar Mishra strongly criticised Madani's stance, terming it "anti-national" and asserting that Vande Mataram holds a place of national pride.
