Hyderabad, Sept. 13 -- BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao on Sunday demanded that the Congress government include the history of the 'September 17 Telangana Liberation struggle' comprehensively in school textbooks to educate future generations about the sacrifices made for the integration of Hyderabad State with India.
Marking the commencement of Operation Polo on September 13, Rao paid tributes to the martyrs and felicitated ex-servicemen at the historic War Tank on Tank Bund here at a programme organised by the Telangana State Liberation Festival Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the sacrifices of the soldiers who laid down their lives for the integrity of the country would always be remembered.
