New Delhi, July 28 -- Amid widespread rain across the national capital, Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra on Tuesday said that the Rekha Gupta-led BJP government had significantly improved Delhi's monsoon preparedness, asserting that the city witnessed no major instances of prolonged waterlogging despite heavy rainfall.
Addressing the media, Malhotra said that while some locations experienced temporary water accumulation during the downpour, the water receded rapidly once the rain stopped.
"Today, despite heavy rainfall in Delhi, there were no reports of any major waterlogging, and even in areas where water had accumulated, it cleared within just a few minutes after the rain stopped," he said, citing a television news report which, accor...
