Ranchi, April 5 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday claimed to have received a boost to its youth outreach in Jharkhand after a large number of youths joined the party at a function held at its state headquarters here.
The induction programme was led by state BJP president Aditya Sahu and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, who welcomed the new entrants, including a group led by youth social worker Sumit Sahu from the Hatia Assembly segment.
Addressing the gathering, Aditya Sahu said the BJP was an ideology-based party and described youth participation as central to its future political expansion in the state.
