Hyderabad, July 18 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao on Friday called upon the people of the state to give the Bharatiya Janata Party a fair opportunity to fulfill the long-standing aspirations of the poor, backward, and downtrodden communities.
Addressing a massive gathering of party workers in Medak, he said the people had already experienced the misrule of both the BRS and Congress and should now place their trust in the BJP.
Rao accused the previous BRS regime and the current Congress government of deceiving the public with false promises and hollow guarantees. He urged voters to teach the ruling Congress a lesson in the upcoming local body elections for failing to deliver on its "six guarantees and 420 promises."
