Kolkata, March 24 -- BJP chief Nitin Nabin arrived in Kolkata on Tuesday morning in the run-up to the Assembly polls in West Bengal. In his two-day visit, the party's new national president will take stock of the preparations for the upcoming polls.

Party sources said that Nabin is scheduled to attend a core committee meeting of the state BJP at a hotel in New Town. "The meeting will focus on electoral strategies across key organisational zones, including Kolkata and adjoining regions," a senior party leader said.

He is also expected to hold discussions with the party's IT cell, social media team, and narrative creation unit later in the day.
