Hyderabad, June 1 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) Telangana State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Monday asserted that the BJP would not be able to come to power in Telangana despite ongoing political propaganda projecting the party's rise in the state.

Addressing the CPI Telangana State Council meeting held at Makhdoom Bhavan in Himayatnagar, Sambasiva Rao said southern states were largely resisting the BJP's expansion and accused the party of relying on religious polarisation rather than development and welfare politics.
