Kolkata, Jan. 21 -- With the Assembly elections approaching, the Bengal BJP is sharpening its campaign strategy by placing Prime Minister Narendra Modi firmly at the centre, with the state party leadership proposing more than two dozen public meetings by the Prime Minister in the run up to the elections.
Party sources said the state leadership has approached the Prime Minister seeking time for more than two dozen public meetings in West Bengal.
As per the plan, Modi is expected to address around ten rallies before the election schedule is announced and at least ten more after the announcement.
