Mumbai, March 4 -- The war of words over the Rajya Sabha seat has intensified within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), with the BJP launching a sharp attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office on Wednesday, BJP chief spokesperson Navnath Ban alleged that Raut no longer holds any significance within the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction.
Ban claimed that internal competition among the three MVA allies over the Rajya Sabha seat has stalled their decision making, with each party attempting to push its own candidate.
