Lucknow, Feb. 3 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has leveled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre for playing with the interests of farmers.
He alleged that opening up the Indian market to American agricultural products and food grains is a direct betrayal of the approximately 70 percent of the population that depends on agriculture.
Posting on his social media account on Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP, which talks about self-reliance and Swadeshi, should tell the public how much "commission" it has taken by compromising the country's economy.
