Dharamshala, Aug. 24 -- Former union minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur today launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, accusing it of failing to fulfil its electoral promises and handle the state's financial situation.
Addressing the BJP's former employees' cell district Kangra conference, Thakur alleged that the Congress had promised Rs 1,500 per month to women, jobs for youth, measures in the interest of farmers and milk producers, and 300 units of free electricity during the Assembly elections, but several of these assurances remained unfulfilled.
