Shimla, Sept. 27 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajiv Bindal on Sunday accused the Congress of creating a nationwide controversy over the Election Commission's decisions. He said the poll panel's clarification on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) had exposed what he termed the party's "politics" against constitutional institutions.
Bindal said the Election Commission had made it clear that decisions, including those related to SIR, were decisions of the full Commission and that final decisions were taken unanimously.
