Thiruvananthapuram, June 29 -- A stormy meeting of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Council descended into chaos on Monday as BJP and UDF councillors came to blows over the attendance register amid protests demanding the removal of jailed BJP councillor R. Sugathan.
The confrontation followed heated exchanges over the conduct of the council meeting, with both sides accusing each other of assault and misconduct.
