Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha on Tuesday accused the opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) of making statements to shield the previous government from embarrassment over the alleged disappearance of the file related to the judicial Commission report on the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
In a statement, BJP state general secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathy alleged that BJD leaders were holding press conferences and levelling accusations only to divert attention from questions surrounding the non-publication of the Commission report during their government's tenure.
