Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will observe the 29th death anniversary of legendary leader and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik across all Assembly constituencies in Odisha.
Senior party Vice-President Debi Prasad Mishra said that local party units have been directed to organize commemorative events under the observance titled "Prabada Purusha Divas."The programs, to be planned at the local level, will include traditional rituals such as Tila Tarpana, garlanding of statues of Biju Patnaik, distribution of fruits to the needy and patients in hospitals, and blood donation camps.
