Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led "double-engine" government, accusing it of failing to provide relief to people from the continuous rise in the prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas and other essential commodities despite a decline in international crude oil prices.
Addressing a press conference here, Biju Mahila Janata Dal President Snehangini Chhuria alleged that the burden of inflation has been steadily increasing on common citizens due to the government's failure to control fuel prices.
