Bhubaneswar, Sept. 13 -- The Opposition BJD on Sunday sought accountability from the Odisha Government over its massive publicity blitz for Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's UAE visit, asking what tangible investment and employment the trip had delivered.

BJD spokesperson Dr Lenin Mohanty questioned the government's investment claims and demanded that it make public the details of the agreements signed during the visit.

Mohanty said the Chief Minister's UAE visit involved MoUs with the Adani Group and IHS, which, he claimed, were linked to agreements signed during Utkarsh Odisha-2025. He questioned what was new in the latest agreements and why an agreement with an Indian company had to be signed in the UAE instead of Odisha or elsewhere...
