Bhubaneswar, May 15 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Friday sharply criticised the BJP-led "double engine" government in Odisha, holding it responsible for the ongoing fuel crisis that has caused widespread inconvenience across the state.

Addressing a press conference, BJD Vice-President Sanjay Dasburma along with Media Coordinator and spokesperson Lenin Mohanty accused the state government of failing to handle the crisis effectively and alleged that its governance was directionless and short-sighted.

Dasburma said people across Odisha are facing severe hardship as they are forced to wait for four to five hours outside fuel stations to purchase petrol and diesel.
