Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- Escalating its attack on the Odisha Government over the Mahanadi water dispute, the opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday alleged that the BJP-led state government has compromised Odisha's interests and effectively surrendered before Chhattisgarh on the crucial river water-sharing issue.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, BJD leaders Rohit Pujari and Bhrugu Buxipatra demanded that the state government immediately publish a White Paper explaining its stand and actions on the dispute.
